Eaton, the global power management, technologies and services company, has introduced three new products to the South African market: Power Xpert C445 intelligent motor management relays, Power Safety Line (PSL) Air Circuit Breakers , and easyE4 control relays.

“Eaton’s range of power management products are designed to comply with international safety and design standards and are robust and affordable enough to be specified in local projects, where the client expects performance, longevity, and superior user experience,” says Seydou Kane, managing director for Eaton Africa.

Power Xpert C445 intelligent motor management relay

The Power Xpert C445 motor management relay provides the highest level of monitoring accuracy and protection for the entire power system. Protections can range from the incoming power source feeding the motor to the individual pump or load. With the built-in user-defined logic and ground fault detection/monitoring, the C445 provides customers with the highest level of motor protection and versatility while maximising uptime.

Power Safety Line (PSL) Air Circuit Breakers

Eaton’s PSL Air Circuit Breakers are designed for use in commercial distribution boards and come complete with the common accessories relevant to commercial building segment already installed.

easyE4 control relays

Eaton’s easyE4 is the ideal choice for controlling tasks with as little effort as possible, from installers in building installations to automation engineers in machine building applications. Its simple handling and the intuitive easySoft 7 programming software make it possible to implement simple control tasks as well as more comprehensive configurations with high process efficiency.

The powerful hardware, flexible expansions and comprehensive communication options make it possible to use the ‘easy’ control relays across a wide range of applications and markets. The integrated Ethernet interface also gives users access to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and makes their machines and installations future-proof.

“Launching these products to the South African market expands Eaton’s already significant product range, adding to the energy and power professional’s toolbox of robust, long-lasting, and safe electrical systems and solutions,” says Kane.
